13·1 month agoIf the Republicans can spread misinformation whenever they want, I can choose to believe the occasional story that makes me happy and hurts the opposition. I don’t do it often, but I refuse to look up if this is real or not. I’ve known this story for years, and I don’t spread it, but I refuse to find out if it’s fake. Please no one tell me if it’s fake

10·1 month agoHonestly, I think your art could absolutely haul that load. It’s just the income portion that’s causing it to be over the carry capacity. It’s like video game logic. You can haul everything just fine, but go 1 gram over the limit and you’re fucked.
If we could just split income from the rest of it, with some sort of, I don’t know, base income that was distributed universally, then art could handle the load.

1·1 month agoThere’s an old black and white movie I cannot remember the name of right now. But basically the plot is a town where everyone is fighting, everyone is broke. The lady who runs the diner borrowed a thousand dollars from the guy who runs the hotel, who borrowed a thousand dollars from the bank, who denied the loan, but the banker gave him the money out of his pocket, etc. basically, and I don’t remember how, someone comes into town and loses a thousand bucks. Each successive character finds it, and gives it to the next person in the line to repay their debt, and then eventually it gets back to the dude who lost it. No one, not a single person, is even a red cent wealthier than before the movie started. No one gets any money. No one buys anything with it. It just gets passed from hand to hand like a daisy chain of buckets to put out a fire. And then everything is fine. Everyone is okay, nothing changes, but now they’re all alright. The money was fake all along is the message I took from it. If they had all just agreed that the money didn’t exist to begin with it would have saved everyone a lot of trouble. But we insist on insisting that money is real.
Iunno. This post just reminds me of that movie.

Any long term effects? Did you love it? Hate it?
I’ve been seriously considering trying it. How long did the after effects last?
Have you tried DMT?

45·1 month agoI just want to apologize for being the person who asks questions and then doesn’t respond to the comments. I get overwhelmed D: but I’d never delete my post, what’s the purpose in that?
I took sort of the opposite route. Lifelong windows user. Tried Linux out several times from like 08-12/13. Moved to Linux full time, and landed on Fedora, and absolutely loved it because of Gnome. It was different enough from Windows that it felt like a fresh start. Have been daily driving it since then.
Two weeks ago I got my first ever apple device because I wanted something genuine reliable for school that didn’t have any weird hiccups, and I just could not stomach the idea of going back to windows. It’s similar enough to gnome that I am adjusting pretty well. Still have fedora on my desktop and backup laptop, though

5·1 month agoNo, the guy in the pic is getting actively railed in that scene. He is laying on his back, and iirc his legs are up in stirrups on the other side of the wall. There’s like 15 or 20 guys in these little cubby things with their bottom halves exposed to strangers who are fucking them.
The video is staged, obviously, but it’s actually a real thing you can find at some bath houses from what I gather.

It also seems like each time it’s reposted there’s more black bar above, and less visible face, but I could be imagining it
