The US has a pretty broad range of what counts as a “gas station” Some of them have on-site prepared food that is legitimately pretty good.

For any other administration I would agree with this. For these guys? They are absolutely stupid enough to really be using Grok for decisions like this.

I have an issue with telling fancy mushrooms from the cheap brown mushrooms that are coincidentally 1/5 of the price. Its a known problem and it should probably disqualify me from a job checking out produce. Oh well, I guess I’ll just do my best.

I bet its evidence that the people involved in this are fully aware of the situation and are making plans for how to cash out and leave us holding the bag when it falls apart.

We can (and should) assume that to be the case, but actual evidence would be pretty significant.

Some of us might see it as exceptionally shitty or at least exceptionally captured by corporate interests.

That office space is in cities that won’t let them steal all the water and power and then dump pollution into the water supply.

A lot of this is because they don’t need as many permits for “temporary” structures.

Which is the same thing as the GOODKINDSTICK that everyone says is really good, but only if you get the V3.65 from 2025, the new stuff is garbage.

If you get a big pile of money you have to pay taxes on it immediately and then you only get interest on what is left over afterward. If get a big pile of gold you don’t pay taxes until you sell it, and in the meantime you benefit from any increase in value since then.

Another critical difference:

If you got a million dollars in cash you were obliged to pay taxes upon receipt, and if you did not do so and you try to deposit it, you are going to get flagged for a tax audit and subject to criminal charges.

If you got a million dollars in GOLD you don’t pay taxes until you sell it. So you can sit on it for years and then sell it and deposit it and you only pay taxes at that moment and have not broken the law in doing so.

Money is income, Gold is just gold until you turn it into money.

They will have Chinese RAM by then, so yeah, its going to be the random made up Amazon/Temu Chinese brands.
