The only thing i have found it good at is reviewing and editing absolutely fucking massive amounts of json files.

Its surprising good at it and only fucks up about once every few hundred files.

Which is less than I do. And it can work on it while I do other things!

Honestly thats just cause zorinOS is a dumbsterfire. Sure theres 100s of distros to choose from and a fuck load of them are “professional” projects. But they arn’t actually user friendly professional projects. Theres little to no effort or care put into the real world aspects that need to be accounted for to onboard new users.

ZorinOS is great and professional for an already existing user.

Its why valve has had to put so much fucking effort in to get something thats actually viable to market to your avg joe.

Frankly outside of a steamOS, bazzite, and cachyOS. Basically no distro goes to any real length to actually make things new user friendly.

Mint, Ubuntu, Fedora, and many other of the most popular distros are “good enough”. They are perfectly functional out of the box as nothing more or less then a useable desktop and web browser. Anything beyond that quickly falls to hit or miss bullshit.

As dumb as it is. The only distros that have actually put the work in to onboard new windows users properly have been the ones with a version targeting the steam deck and gamers.

People who ONLY need a email client are already accounted for after all with stuff like mint. You don’t need your computer for anything so anything beyond the basics being VERY polished is pointless.

That’s because that’s the character he plays.

Counter strike is literally one of the single most cheated in fps on earth. Only tarkov has more cheaters… Lol

Iv never in my life seen a game that controls it with or with out kernel anti cheat. The only time I’ve ever seen gamers claim a game has cheating under control is because the avg gamer has no fucking idea what cheating actually looks like or how it works.

Functionally if it isn’t as obvious as a spin bot in a counter strike lobby or someone flying around with no clip. 99.99% of gamers are too ignorant to even make the claim if a game has a cheating problem or not.

Kernel anti cheat doesn’t work, never had and never will. You can’t beat cheaters full stop so long as they have access to the hardware the game is running in.

Any company can lie and bullshit it ain’t progress till there’s proof this isn’t just a dead position that will just get axed in a year with nothing to show for it.

Opting out of buying from a service only hurts them when the service is anti consumer.

When the service is large due to pro consumer reasons then not buying just hurts yourself.

An anti consumer service relies on momentum to maintain it self. Hoping people are too lazy to leave. Since growing the customer base is near impossible with out dirty tactics.

A pro consumer service grows regardless, since it’s the best option. It doesn’t have to do dirty things to grow a customer base since by default the other options are worse.

If you just stop buying games entirely then you also do not matter you removed yourself entire from the equation.

You would need to start buying games from non valve sources that are in direct competition with valve. So things like the Amazon store, Uplay, etc.

Which do the same things and worse.

Functionally you do not get a choice of voting with your wallet. Because it doesn’t apply here. So all your doing is being stupid at worse and nothing at best for the cause.

You ARNT the customer being hurt here. You can’t vote with your wallet. The game studios and devs are the customer in question. THEY have to vote with their wallet by not putting games on steam.

You as a gamer physically can’t vote with your wallet unless you directly go to the competition.
