The film crew decided to keep that take in the movie because of how funny it was, but as the scene transitions you can see Wilder look towards the film crew as he wasn’t sure if they would redo the scene because of it.

That was back before I really understood anything regarding politics and how damaging America has been to the world at large. Unfortunately, a lot of that “RAA RAA MURICA BEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD FREEDOM” bullshit gets spread around here thanks to our proximity and consumption of American media.

Faaar too late by now. Even if Trump and all of his sycophants were arrested or killed today, the damage has been done. America has lost all of its soft power, its reputation, and its influence on the world stage. Its government has been gutted and compromised thoroughly, and has proven that it is always going to be just 1 election away from chaos. Why would other countries want to make deals with one that can do against them on a whim because they elected another nutjob? Why would other countries militarily rely on a country that can pull its troops and support suddenly because its president is compromised by the enemy?

As a Canadian, who once had respect for America and no longer does and likely won’t for a very long time, I don’t see America recovering without some significant structural changes to prevent this from happening again. And considering America was dumb enough to vote Trump in not once, but twice? I’m not holding my breath.

I personally hate Wojaks. They’re so fucking ugly and have no personality unlike the rage comics that at least had their own unique (also ugly) style. Each rage comic character was different too, you can’t confuse Me Gusta with the Cereal Guy or the NO. Guy.

They also ditched the giant large sized foam cups for the plastic ones, which just so happen to be conveniently smaller. All to give the customer less while claiming to be environmentally friendlier. Of course, the cups get chucked into the same dumpster as the rest of the garbage, as the recycling bin is cardboard only.

Singles are 6oz and juniors 4? At the one I worked at, it’s 4oz for the singles and just under 2oz for the juniors. Maybe it’s a difference between Canada and the US?
