Yes I’ve been there. China is actually awesome, incredibly friendly people, lots of culture and great work ethic, amazing food. Alas, the other end is much worse: there are no personal freedoms. There’s no internet. There’s an incredible selfishness forced into the psyche of Chinese people by the incredibly unjust opression. All that just makes you wonder how amazing free China would be.

Of course it’d be flagged as problematic and against their interests, like any forum that was blocked by the FBI for copyright infringement when most of the posts are not.
